SaleSaint Privacy Policy

SaleSaint is a private inventory, listing and bookkeeping tool. It is used only by its owner, Matt Gillard, and his household to run their own two eBay stores. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

What SaleSaint stores

• Our own selling data: items, photos, costs, prices, listing details, sales amounts, fees, expenses and mileage.
• eBay data about our own stores, retrieved through eBay's APIs only after we sign in and give consent on eBay's own page: our listings, our order numbers, and the amounts and fees of our sales.
• eBay access tokens for our own two seller accounts, stored encrypted.

SaleSaint does not store buyers' names, addresses, emails, phone numbers or eBay user IDs. It never collects or stores anyone's eBay password.

How the data is used

• To create and manage our own eBay listings, track inventory, and record sales, fees and profit for bookkeeping and taxes.
• Data is never sold, rented or shared with anyone, and is never used for advertising.
• eBay data is not used to train, build or improve any artificial intelligence model. An AI assistant helps write listing drafts from our own item photos; it does not receive other eBay users' data.

Where it is kept

All data lives on the owner's own computer, reachable only from the owner's private network. Listing photos are copied for up to 30 days to this server so eBay can import them into listings, then deleted automatically.

Keeping and deleting data

• Data is kept only as long as needed to run the stores and meet tax record requirements.
• SaleSaint receives eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion notifications and deletes any data relating to the closed account if it holds any.
• If eBay or a person asks us to delete data about them, we do so promptly.
